Is Lou Fired Yet?
#1
Why wasn't there a bag with Lou's personal items in front of the locker room after this game with security escorting him out of the stadium? This guy was such a garbage DC for this team that he's racked up some impressive records other DC's will have a hard time beating!

Lou and his defense scheme allowed 404 rushing yards today. He's a genius, think about how hard it would be to avoid the football that much in a 60 minute football game?

Now show him the door....

Yes, he was fired immediately after the game, it's just nobody thought it was worth a thread. I blame them, not you.

Even Teryl Austin said, “Damn that guy allows lots of yards and points.”

Are they being fired or are they not accepting extensions.

Seems with the WRC news there may be something to this.

Mike and Katie should've made him clean out his desk after the Colts game. Sadly, I think he and Zac are back next year.

If he stays, I would expect his leash to be shorter. An in-season firing shouldn’t be out of the question.

I think what that means is that they're not willing to give the typical length contract to potential hires because they plan on retaining Zac Taylor, and they don't want to pay out if they're forced to clean house before the contracts are up.

I could be wrong, but I think if this is true then it means Taylor is staying put.

I hate that approach.

I was against firing Lou mid-season since it doesn't do anything really.

This is the time to shit can that bum.

In season it is hard to change calls, and style of defense. Now it is exactly the time to do that. Fire Lou, offer Wade Phillips anything he wants, and let him pick the guys he needs.

Zac said in his presser that "conversations" about the future would happen this week. Mike's usually post season conference takes place on Monday if his normal patterns occur. We might hear something official tomorrow afternoon or Tuesday

These “conversations” better be one-way and very loud. I can’t see how any coach or coordinator survives.

It's really good for your pores to ravens every 3 days or so.

Lou's defense has allowed 140+ rushing yards 50% of the time in his 32 games, and has given up over 2,300 rushing yards in each of his 2 years. There's simply no way to justify bringing him back, IMO.
