Long read / listen but very interesting.

Glad they are "our" side with such a program.  Whatever

Israelis did succeed in shooting down a transport with Arafat on board once. But his men latched onto him in a giant group hug,  using their bodies to form a shock cushion.  Arafat survived the crash. Then there was the time Israel jets took out the PLO office in Tunis when Arafat was out jogging. They had him in Beirut too--and then not.  Quite the legend. David vs Goliath.

Only this time DAVID is the Philistine Hilarious

That’s just a few links when I searched palestinians corruption.

Well Lucy, you make some substantial points here.  And I am not going to support corruption in any government.

Which brings me back to the question of standards. If corruption costs the Palestinians your support, why is it not a problem for Israel?

Netanyahu appears to be the most corrupt Israeli PM since Sharon.

Israeli corruption is less than many Arab (developing) states, but among developed countries,  which should be their standard, they are rock bottom. https://www.timesofisrael.com/israel-among-most-corrupt-developed-states-study-finds/

So you set up standards like no terrorist leadership and no corruption, but only apply them to one side. That is a double standard.

Also, I must caution you on some of your sources. The Times of Israel is much less slanted than the Washington Times, but much more so than Haaretz.

Have you checked out the sources reported in your Beacon, the ones filling Congress in on Palestinian, not Israeli, corruption?  Do you know who Elliot Abrams is, or Jonathan Schanzer?  Google them with the terms "neocon" or "AIPAC."  They are basically Israeli lobbyists.  Do you understand that a 1.8 million dollar aid contract for public works to Yasser Abbas' construction firm, is not, in itself "corruption"?

So you are OK if Trump awards 1.8m dollar contracts to his family?

You are walking a thin line there.

As for Israel. I am sure there is some corruption, I just assume there is always corruption and it’s just a matter of how much we can deal with..... the amount of corruption that keep citizens poor and in shanty towns while making the leader and his family and friends wealthy. I can’t take that.

And I use Israel news sources because palestianian journalists aren’t allowed to report on the corruption. Thanks to those wonderful leaders.
