JoeyB -Fortunately, not a lot to do in Cincinnati...

Old people and outsiders think that there’s nothing to do in Cincy. Burrow falls into that second category.

Now that I’m a real life adult, I agree. But 21 year old me really enjoyed Athens.

I think the smirk said it all. The comment was a joking way of saying the team isn't trying to go out clubbing, as they have games to prepare for.

As to what there actually is to do in the area, I haven't been back to the area in quite a while, but I can't imagine that Mt. Adams has changed much.

Not really. We have one of the best brewery scenes in the entire country, OTR is full of trendy bars and restaurants that you might see in much bigger cities, they just built a brand new music venue next to PBS, there’s a casino downtown, Clifton always has a ton going on with UC being up there, etc.

It likely means entirely different things to a 25 year old stud NFL QB versus, say, a middle-aged married guy like myself. My entertainment requirements today are vastly different from those of 30 years ago, and I'm sure the wife and I could find a lot of interesting things to do in Cincinnati before we ever made it to the casino.

There’s probably a lot of good grass to graze in the natti.

If you can't find something to do wherever you are, tis you who are boring.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

Beats the **** outta Baton Rouge I'd suppose too. I dunno... No desire to ever visit that dump.

But Joey B said Skyline is disgusting, so I doubt he'd be interested in a delicious 3 way.

Did you seriously not find many places to go in your 20s? I am 35, I lived in Cincy throughout most of my 20s and I partied plenty there. OTR, Mount Adams, The Banks, Mainstrasse, Clifton, etc were all great spots to go out. Is there an ocean here? No. But to act like there ain't crap to do on a weekend or week night here is BS. We obviously don't compare to NYC, LA, Miami, or Chicago, but there is still plenty of night life here if you want to partake. My liver can attest to the opportunities to party here. In my 20s I also lived in: Orlando, Indianapolis, Baton Rouge, and Lexington, so it is not like I only have Cincy to compare. Out of those cities, Orlando had the most to do, but it is one of the world capitals of tourism, so that makes sense.

Baton Rouge ain't all bad, but its definitely not what I would consider an exciting city. 90 minutes from NOLA, so there is some damn good partying to be had. Tigerland (LSU bar district) is pretty fun.

No. No, he doesn’t. In fact if we can go ahead and put him in bubble wrap and keep him away from people as much as possible that would be great.

He's our QB but he clearly has no taste.

Tom Brady survives on kale and avocado ice cream…

I’m fine with my QB having better eating habits than me. LOL

I'm good with Burrow living a simple life in the suburbs of West Chester, Loveland, Madeira, Indian Hill, Mason, or wherever it is he's decided to live. About the only reason you'd really venture out of those places and head into Cincinnati this time of year is for a Bengals game & we know Joe's too occupied to watch Bengals games as a fan. Cool Yes, yes. There are museums, restaurants, conventions, and other attractions in the city.

I'm from the Cincinnati area and lived there most of my life. There are things to do, but not to the same degree as many larger U.S. cities. Joe was just making a quip and having some fun with his comment. No need for "Cincinnati Guy" to take it personal.

Go Bengals! Joe
