It's not my opinion that blacks suffered at the hands of Clinton criminal justice policies. That's a fact.

...sigh...

Until you provide any facts, let alone a single fact, to back that statement up it remains our opinion. ThumbsUp

Over the course of Clintons presidency, the amount of Americans in prison rose 60% and we all know that the number of inmates is not proportionate to the actual number of whites/blacks/hispanics that live in the us. So its pretty safe to say that the majority of that 60% were not whites.

Just to avoid being disciplined, what infraction in this thread should I steer clear from ?
I don't want to get restricted.

For starters, you can avoid thinly veiled requests to find out why others were restricted and avoid assumptions (such as 'a restriction had something to do with this particular thread'). ThumbsUp

Hmmmm.... I guess I have to admit I was wrong in thinking Dino wasn't restricted in the other P&R threads.

And.... I thinly veil damn near everything.

So are you blaming the clintons for hip hop culture? Maybe Bill and Biggie were in it together with tupac. I do remember hearing about how Hillary wrote that ghetto dope song about making crack with master p back in 97.

If trying to help is the problem then blame all crime and poverty on religion for trying to help those in need and only making the problem worse.

The national crime rate was rising rapidly before Clinton took office.  By the time he left office it was dropping.

The incarceration rate was tied to the crime rate and Clinton did nothing but reduce the crime rate during his presidency.  And that helped the black community (and everyone) tremendously

The poverty rate for African Americans also dropped during the clinton administration

You overestimate the power of the president if you think Clinton was the reason crime went down (as is anyone who blames the president for the bad things that happen, too).

If you know that's where it's supposed to be, why do you keep yours tucked amongst  your nether-regions (or mine) ?

I agree.

I was just using facts to dispel Lucie's opinion.

These things happened during the Clinto administration, but not just because of him.

Bill Clinton admits 3 strikes hurt minorities.

Admits it hurt everyone.

But since Hillary is moving to correct this problem it is no longer a reason minorities should be against her.

Yes he is trying to not make himself look too bad.

Minorities were hurt more than whites.    And even so she may he correcting them now.    She touts her experience in his administration dealing with policy.   This was a big policy decision that she claims she was involved in all policy matters as First Lady.    My point is she can't take credit for the experience and deny how that policy has hurt minorities.    If she takes credit for the Exp.   she gets credit for how it's affected people.

Now if you are saying she doesn't get credit then we get back to her having no experience in the White House.   All she has is a senate tenure she did zero, and a disasterous  tenure as Sec.

Yeah. I happen to agree. There are more than one causes for the drop. Here is one:
