Local News anchor fired for Facebook Comments

Most likely because I thought the answer was obvious. There are certain phrases you just don't use if you want to avoid them being considered racist. To be honest, I've never heard the Obama can't sell Watermelons quote, but that shit is racist as hell. Same as if someone were to say Obama can chuck a spear, Cruz couldn't sell tacos, Hillary couldn't sell midol.

It is just too often we will attempt to justify something for which there is no justification. Just as I have already said that the news anchor should have been severly reprimanded for her comments.

Or she could have just been exaggerating in order to give herself more credit for saving this poor black boy from his heartless black family who could never give him any support or encouragement.

She encouraged everyone to make a difference to a total stranger. Where the stranger grew up doesn't really matter because you can still make a difference.

Her entire story was about poor black kids who struggle because they all come from splintered families.  All she talked about was the poor black neighborhoods and the problems they face.

She doesn't think white kids need this type of help because she thinks they get plenty of direction and encouragement from their decent white families.

Thetes different ways to interpret different parts of her post based on her wording, but this isn't one of them. The second sentence especially.

Just give it up man.  You are the one bending over backwards and going through all sorts of mental gymnastics to try and come up with some meaning for her post other than what she clearly said.

If this lady saw a white kid working hard to bus tables there is no way she would claim that he needed "encouragement, kindness, and direction" because he would never get it at home.

One of the surviving victims, who happened to be the main target of the attack, was in court to day for a hearing on his assault charge he got in December. The man he assaulted was the boyfriend (as of December) of his sister. His sister was killed in the ambush. The hearing was postponed because the victim and none of the prosecutor's witnesses showed up - probably had other plans or something. He has been out all bail for this charge; however, he was escorted through the court by a bunch of cops.

Just an interesting side story that is surely completely unrelated to the massacre.
