No matter what team we play or what seed we get, just win. That's it, plain and simple.

In this thread we are talking about who the Bengals might play if the Bengals get the 3rd seed. Seeems a legit topic to have a fun filled discussion.

I'd just prefer not to have the Bengals play the Steelers in the playoffs because even though I think Cincy would beat them handily, the Steelers would be cheap shotting and trying to injure our players the whole game. Going further into the playoffs, we would be missing key players with injuries because of their dirty hits.....

After the Bengals, I will be rooting for the ex-Bengals QBs in other games - namely Fitzpatrick and Palmer.

While the refs would be looking the other way stating that the Steelers "always played hard" and when other teams play "just as hard", a penalty would be called because that is "not the norm" for other teams. Whatever

I can't think of any worse scenario then getting beat by the Steelers in the playoffs... I will absolutely lose my mind!

Losing to the Jets or Chefs would be bad enough, but yes, that would be off-the-scale horrendous.  We'd have a whole year to wait to potentially redeem ourselves, and that year would royally suck.

Oh we will outlast Fitzpatrick for sure.  I would never root for Palmer.  If the Bengals are out of it at some point, I will root for Mike Zimmer and the Vikings.

I think the people that are scared of the steelers and want to face the jets are looking at this all wrong. I would much rather face the steelers in the playoffs. The jets are good against the run, the have a good secondary, their QB has a hot hand right now, and they have a big WR who can beat double teams. On top of that, the jets have a new HC and we have not played them, so he is an unknown quantity to game plan for. We know the steelers, have faced them twice, know they have a porous D, ben is prone to throwing INTs at critical moments against us, we beat them in their own house, and if not for 2 INTs by a backup QB fresh off the bench, we would have beaten them here too. I think we handle the steelers just fine in a re-match. And like I have repeatedly said, what better way to end our playoff drought? Can you imagine the momentum going into denver a steelers victory would provide?

Hey guys new to the board this is my first post.  I don't see Bills beating Jets. Rex can want to win till the cows come home. But the Jets have been hot lately I just don't see them losing this game. Playoffs are on the line. Jets are a much better team.

This is where I'm at.  Time to quit running and hiding from them and face them head on with multiple,  deliberate punches to their hypothetical throats.

It shouldn't matter who we play in the wild card rd. If we can't beat who ever we play then we don't belong there. Our team is better than the Jets or Steelers if their game play can't reflect that yet again, there is a problem with this team that goes deeper than we can even guess. Its our 5th straight year in playoffs. Our team with AJ or Andy has shown they can play way better than these two teams.
If every player does there job Dalton or no Dalton AJ is good enough to manage a win.

Most likey we will have the 3rd seed as I don't see Denver losing to the Chargers in Denver. That said, it will be the 3rd seed vs the 6th seed in the first round.

Go J-E-T-S.

I hate the Stoolers.

The only problem with facing the Jets is that they beat us twice at Cincy during the playoffs.
