March Madness

March Mockness

1) Mackenzie Alexander CB Clemson
https://youtu.be/NYisEz9xyUE
https://youtu.be/pbfKE1prgnM

I'd love for this potential shutdown corner to fall to us. He's really not a flash player in the interceptions category but all the same a very sound football player with big time skills.

2) Kenny Clark DT Kenny Clark
http://youtu.be/3e2doHAeUxE

The big plug with upside to be the long-term along side Geno. I like the chances of him being there round two with such a deep class at the position. Maybe Sterling Shepard here also.

3) Braxton Miller WR Ohio State
http://youtu.be/JSEi0d-zAXY

I just don't buy the hype of picking him earlier only because he needs time.
On the flip side he could also come in and shock the league because his athletic ability is off the charts. I'd love the pick here!

4) Jordan Jenkins EDGE Georgia
http://youtu.be/Q3csbFg0cdU

A nice mix of pass rushing ability in sub packages with high upside. Coming from the mighty SEC hes certainly battle tested and big stage ready.

5) Graham Glasgow C Michigan
http://youtu.be/Ubte19eLnZg

We get a much needed competition at the center position. I wouldn't be shocked if they looked earlier but this wouldn't be a bad pick here. They seem to like TJ Johnson so maybe the UDFA route may be the direction.

6) Elandon Roberts LB Houston
http://youtu.be/xR8ndPYDVCY

This is one of my dark horse players in the entire draft! Just a tough competitor with a nose for the football. He had a great season and if he got drafted earlier I wouldn'tbe shocked in the least. Hopefully by the Bengals!

7) Justin Simmons S Boston College
http://youtu.be/V08z_iotr0I

Here is another mid to late rounder with some upside and special teams value. He needs some time to develop but could be a pleasant surprise down
the line.

Alexander seems a little handsy and might pick up some flags at the next level, but he is physical
and is the type of Corner we seem to like so this is realistic for sure with the first pick.

Like the Clark pick, Braxton in the 3rd is where i would like to grab him instead of the dudes
thinking he is a first round pick, this is where he should be taken IMHO.

Love the Jordan Jenkins pick. Exactly the type of rusher we need. Sick of the same prototypical
4-3 Ends every year. Clarke and Hunt is what we end up with if we stick to this BS. Just get a
good rusher no matter the height. Jenkins is a disruptive pass rusher, love it.

Doubt Glasgow lasts until the 4th but would love it if he did.

Like the Roberts thought, we need some more instinctive Linebackers to pick up the slack.

Good mock.

Thanks for the comment because your not afraid to make one on my posts.
I'm just a fan.

As for the mock:

I really believe that Mackenzie will fall not because of talent but other position
groups being deep. He'll certainly give us something to think about if so.

I also think that an edge rusher just might be what we go for to become current to
what the league is doing. I know ML has to be licking his chops to finally get his edge guy.
He was ahead of his time when he had that bruising defense in Baltimore.
I believe history repeats itself and after the Denver win he'll get his guy.

I don't know why you made a 3.0, because this one nails it.  Love, love, love it if this were to happen.  And the Bengals are very likely to target these positions, except for DT, but if a player like Clark is there in Round 2 you take him.

Perhaps my only tweak would be another WR in Round 5, as I don't see Glasgow being there and I am unsure of his value as a swing Guard.

Just a little more footage of Alexander for those who may not be familiar with his cover skills.

Ehh I'm not a fan of a corner with no picks, and I really don't want Miller and that's it,I don't think that wr core would be good enough for a Superbowl run.
