Oh dear..... looks like you guys didn't know.  Not surprised.

Cookies have nothing to do with it.  Otherwise it would have a lot of NFL searches, traveling and a guy that goes by Primitive Technologies.  I also search for paleontology.

Don't let that stop you from being wrong though.

Of course, I am sure the others on here are aware of these things.

I won't go into specifics, but I can tell you definitively that those ads are generated by a combination of cookie data and A/B testing of new offers, advertorials and cross-platform traffic swapping.  Taboola is a major player in the space.  Take a look at their cookie policy.

You're barking up the wrong tree here bud.  When I'm in a conversation about AK's and Semi-automatic platforms, I don't question Roto.  If I wanted to know the best way to make sure all the lunch trays from Arby's are being returned correctly, I will cede to you.

The ads I get are not related to anything really. Does mobile have a different deal than a PC?

It does.  Several reasons, but simply put mobile traffic does not carry the same monetization weight as desktop.

Hmm. So is that why sometimes I'll search for something on my phone, then when I open Facebook or whatever on a desktop, I get ads for Ford Broncos or gymnastic mats?

I always joke that when I want to shop for something I just do one google search and then wait for the ads to pop up on Facebook.

Not sure if joke or serious, but...  In the case of FB, your platform (sorry Roto) is of no consequence.  The FB app places a cookie in your mobile browser linking your accounts.  All your history on mobile leeches into desktop and vice versa.

Some believe you don't even need to search for it.  Just mention it to your wife.

Not joking, serious question. That's what I thought, but wasn't concerned enough to actually read up on it.

Thanks!

Why would I bark?  English not your first language? Ninja

As to the point.  My original response was on my work computer.  Shared by many.  The article that popped up, that I was referring to, was a recent article for RT.  Those do show on the side bar.

The follow ups were from my personal computer, and while the Aryan article was gone, a different RT article displayed.

JFTR - I am typing this one on my work computer.

Now you can check me for Arby's trays but I am more of a Chik-Fil-A person.

Let's check what you wrote earlier . . .

So if the Aryan article popped because of other articles at the time of viewing why are you telling us about coworkers who shared the computer, but weren't operating the damn thing at the time of viewing?

If you're telling us about the coworkers sharing the computer which would affecting the browsing history and cookies then why the **** did you write the Aryan article was generated because of other crap at the time of viewing?

You sound like a ***** Private. Show me the Aryan article so I can see how "recent" it is.

Damn.  You have a "shared" work computer?  Sweet.  Wipe those inputs down.

Yeah, his Pro-Aryan buddy was looking over his shoulder at the time of viewing or used  their shared work computer right before which is why the Aryan article with the salute was there. Not because of all the "white advocacy" YouTube videos he posts here strictly for educational purposes.

Yeah, it is a shared computer.  It is how information is passed between shifts.

I am the only white person where I work.

So how likely do you believe your non-white coworkers are the ones who would be interested in an Aryan article based upon their cookies, browser history, or other articles they are looking at while you are the one doing the looking on your shared work computer where you are "the only white person where I work"?

I think we have narrowed the suspect down to "the only white person where I work."

LMAO

I'm glad you just do fixed site and maybe route security instead of interrogations because you're awful at this shit. How many times do you come into work and instead of catching your non-white coworkers checking out porn they are reading another damn Aryan news article? They set you up. Those bastards! They've been planning this for months. They knew Lucy would link that article and you would use your shared work computer to view his article and the Aryan articles they have been reading when you aren't there on your shared work computer would trigger an Aryan article to pop up on your screen and you would comment about it. Mind. Blown. If I hadn't been here to witness this conspiracy theory I would never believe it.

Yeah, still don't believe it.

Is this why you don't have that sweet security job at the college anymore? Someone else set you up by reading Aryan news articles on your shared work computer and you got fired?
