Not that anyone cares, but Dalton is about to pass Palmer
#1
...in career passing yards this Sunday. He needs only 86 yards to move into 3rd place behind Kenny and Boomer.

Palmer as a Bengal
97 starts
46-51 (.474)
2 playoff appearances (0-1)
2024 of 3217 (62.9%)
22694 yards (7.05 YPA)
154 TDs
100 INTs
86.9 passer rating
160 sacks (42 fumbles)

Dalton
95 starts
56-37-2 (.600)
5 playoff appearances (0-4)
1956 of 3126 (62.6%)
22608 yards (7.23 YPA)
142 TDs
85 INTs
88.2 passer rating
189 sacks (34 fumbles)

In 5 more seasons or so, he should also pass Palmer in TD passes. Ninja

At least he'll be on the road, and won't get booed for it. Whatever

Hell, I wouldn't be shocked if he comes up short of 86 passing yards this week.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

I get the frustration, but he's never played a complete game with less than 86 yards.

Yeah that was classless.

If he has an escalator clause in his contract for becoming 3rd on that list, I wouldn't be shocked if he comes up short of 86 for the year. Ninja

Right? Ridiculous behavior from our fans that day  Whatever I've heard plenty of "Boos" from televised Bengal games over the years but that was easily one of the loudest times. I don't know if the broadcast amplified them on purpose for dramatic effect or what but man was I pissed

Exactly.  I mean, i get everyone was upset over his performance....but when a guy reaches a milestone like that, either cheer, or keep it to yourself.  That was so bush league.

Palmer had better brace himself for 2 or so games from now when it's announced that he's passed Kurt Warner's franchise yardage in AZ. I can't imagine that's going to go over well, either.

Oh good. The boards are now allowing 5 year-olds to make posts. Wonderful  Whatever

I still believe Carson was well on his way to being the best Bengal quarterback ever in 2005. Going into the playoffs, that was the hottest team in football and their offense was unstoppable, something we really haven't seen since going into the playoffs. Close but just not as good.

But then the play happened that changed everything from that point on, when Shitsburgh sniped his knee so they can win that game. Carson and the Bengals just never seem to fully recover from that, and it all just slowly started to swirl down the toilet in various ways.
