Obama says no to bacon, bans pork

Anyway, I don't see this as much of a thing. They were already down to only two pork products apparently. If they aren't really into it, oh well. Honestly, the pork industry has themselves to blame. Through their selective breeding and poor husbandry practices, the factory farm pork in this country is as flavorless as a chicken breast.

You are hands down the biggest food elitist on the board. Just let us enjoy our pork chops and Hershey chocolate.  I know it's not made on top of a Swiss Alp with clouds and sunshine, but it tastes good.

I don't think it is elitism. I just like simple ingredients and I'm not a fan of the overly-sweet American products. I've never been a sugar lover, yet I get diabetes. Damn carbs. :snark:

Anyway, yeah, I just like flavor and the flavor of a well raised hog v. one from Smithfield or their ilk is amazing.
