Obviously Simmons had Elliott rated higher than Zane.

I trust Simmons over me so I am happy we got the kicker (1st one drafted) our coaches wanted

Free Agency ain't over until it is over.

First 6 years BB - 41 wins and 54 losses with 1-1 playoff record with 2 teams Browns and Pats
Right position. Got to trust the coaches on this one.

I liked Gonzalez and Elliot, both should be good. Didn't put much time into researching either so I'll trust the bengals got the right one. Rankings varied from site to site

I'm just glad we got one of the top kickers in the draft.

So they aren't going to talk about the kicker at all on NFLn.....

Elliot is more a Jim Breech type

I hate the pick not because they don't need a kicker they do....it's just thr fact they had to draft a kicker. It makes you a little ill...

There were still guards, centers, lbs and secondary help out there.

CBS gave it a D+
If Steelers or Ravens pick would have been a B+...LOL

But 12 picks makes it palatable

Buttholes

Mike Brown drafting a kicker here shows a total lack of respect for O Linemen and understanding of the draft. Mike Browns constant lack of respect for blocking towards, Montoya, Steinbach, Whitworth, Zeitler and now not drafting an O Lineman, even taking a kicker ahead of O Line.....when we need O Line.......Mike Brown doesn't have a clue.....Dalton is going to get killed and so will McCarron and all these pass targets will never get the ball. There will be no blocking to get them the ball, thanks to Mike Brown and his no respect for blocking.

Agreed, hopefully he can be a solid kicker for us. I like the pick, I think him or Gonzalez were more or less  a wash.

I thought you wanted a kicker?

We have a slew of 4th and later depth guys on the o line is guess you can't name. It has nothing to do with that.
Are you freakin kidding me! A kicker before a Olineman WTF. Elliott would have been there with Gonz still on the board. I know we need a kicker and happy we got one but damn. We are picking like we only have 2 picks left. Common Piano man grow some balls and fight for these guys. Oh never mind forgot he thinks the line is great.
