Oline is the....

main problem with this team. We haven't been able to consistently run the ball for the past 2 years. It starts with the center Bodine. He sucks big-time.

Yep...and blame the front office for not retaining Andre Smith and not bringing in a Center.

They decided to draft a 4th Round Center and hand him the starting job.

They also drafted a Tackle that was out for the season with an ACL injury.

Andre Smith is sorely missed. Ass clown should have found a way resigned him.

Yes, this is true. When the offensive line cannot run block consistently, this puts pressure on the passing game to succeed. Defenses know this and basically play a lot man under against the Bengals because they know with the run game out of commission, the pass game is all Cincinnati has. The bad offensive line has turned the Bengals into a throw it fifty times a game team which is not how the offensive playbook is composed.

There were multiple times I saw both Boling and Zeitler get tossed like a skinny geek at recess. It's so embarrassing this is who we have to root for as fans. These guys are not good at football. Some blame should be on their college and high school coaches as well. In order to get to that level of trash it must've been worked on and honed over the course of many years and at multiple levels.

Bodine? His parents should be sued for even signing him up for the sport to begin with.

It's time to see what we have with players like Westerman, Core, and Williams. Especially Williams. They can sit Peko or Sims a week.

Yep the oline is very important. That's why Dallas put $100 million in it's oline. Ezekiel Elliot isn't touched for 5 yards. That's how good Dallas oline is.

Maybe we'll draft a Center in the 1st Round that has a torn ACL and another Center in the 2nd Round this year to improve it?

I hope we can  get something in free agency. If other teams can upgrade in free agency then why can't the Bengals can do it too?

O-line is the symptom of a much bigger problem, crappy front office management, crappy planning, crappy drafting, crappy free agency, crappy player development, and most important CRAPPY COACHING!!!!

Again, the FO  treats scouting as not being important. But, with these picks we can see that it should be. Sick

Not sure how new you are to cheering for the team (welcome to the forum either way!), but Mike Brown has a horrible reputation when it comes to paying elite talent in FA. He'll retain his own guys sometimes, but he has never, ever, paid for top notch talent out of FA. In some instances it was warranted (FA talent pool was shallow and everyone getting overpaid), but at other times there has been a very deep talent pool at FA and Mike sat on his hands.

We could have had Richie Icognito at some point too.  He would have ruined our team camaraderie though. Mellow Hilarious

Hey at least he would give Zampise and Alexander a swirly, perhaps jam them in a locker, or better yet an atomic wedgie.

Though let's not forget he wasn't productive in his first years either. 4th pick overall and he held out then had foot problems that first year.
