anybody else think Kasich would be a good Presidential candidate?

John Kasich...Governor of Ohio. Helped balance the budget under Clinton, and took Ohio from operating in the red to operating in the black.

On paper, both MD and OH have governors (ours being a recently former) who have great resumes. But no one knows these people. Everything Hillary preaches but hasn't done, OMalley did in MD. He's relatively young and good looking for a politician... But no one really knows much about him.

We know the governors who half of the country despise or the Senators who make a lot of noise. Somehow senators are the new presidential candidates

Guys like Kasich and OMalley don't have the fundraising roots to run. Unfortunately.

Right now the GOP has three guys running on nearly identical platforms with similar background, plus Paul. And possibly Bush. Or maybe not. Or maybe. Or maybe not. He's not really sure. Wait... his sup PAC says he is. Or isn't.

And on the opposite side, there's Hillary and a lot of people the party isn't going to push because they can't raise funds like she can. Likewise, because even after all the scandals, late night jokes and lack of a positive track record, she's still ahead of everyone the GOP is putting out there.

Which is why I think Mark Warner went to the Senate, aspirations of running. Unfortunately he is too moderate to have a shot in today's climate.

He also has his landslide gubernatorial win (even though his opponent was garbage). Someone winning anything in Ohio by that much is a good tool to have in the belt.

However he's too generic and way too moderate. I'd be kind of okay with him running though.
