Our hourly guys went to four days with a split schedule 20 years ago.  A group worked M-Th, the other Tu-Fr.  When business slowed down it went to everyone M-Th with Friday overtime.  They love it.  No union, btw, but treated better than a few union shops I've seen...lol.

We float the off day for holidays that fall on different days of the week too so they can get a four day weekend whenever possible.

I'm salaried so it doesn't matter to me.

Interesting. I’m sure his base will love the push away from capitalist merit based colleges and into a socialized higher education system the government runs…
