Progressive media trying to normalize pedophilia

This is interesting but not for the reasons you think.  This is a great example you have provided for the exact opposite of what you are intending.

Bergdahl, like everyone else is only responsible for his own actions.

What does this mean though.  You seem to think this extends to him being responsible for his capture and I would argue the exact opposite.  His captors are responsible for his capture, while he is responsible for desertion and misbehavior before the enemy.  You'll notice he was not charged with being captured.  This is due to the fact that someone other than him has to capture him.

No matter the situation a woman finds herself in, she is not responsible for the actions of another.  Sam if some dude is raped by either another man or a woman.  He is not responsible for the other persons actions.

i don't think anyone here would disagree with the idea that a college girl should go out and get passing out drunk by herself.  Not that she should be blamed if she gets raped, but she should still be required to take some reasonable precautions.  For example I don't blame a person who gets killed when another driver strikes his car, but I still think it is a good idea for every driver to wear seatbelts to protect them from the acts of others.

Freddie, you think that there is a line?

There is a line.  However, people will cross that line.  When they do, they should be held accountable, only when proven beyond all reasonable doubt that they were guilty.

I would never argue that a women deserved rape.  I will not, however, feel sorry for a woman that decided to put herself in a dangerous situation.  Just like I didn't feel sorry for Steve Irwin when he was killed.

So his actions led to his capture, yet you think he isn't responsible for his capture?  That is absurd!

Go ahead though.  Keep thinking your absurd thoughts.

Maybe YOU wouldn't feel sympathy for a rich person who is carjacked but most of us realize that going from Point A to Point B doesn't deserve to be robbed.

What if the woman lives in a crime infested neighborhood, is she fair game to be raped 24/7?

I don't understand why right-wingers are so set on cramming their guns or girlfriends/wives into their little message board icons.

He still doesn't know what irony or generalization means.

This is fun.

This is further proof of what I was saying.

Liberals, can't win in logic, so they resort to name calling.

Do guns offend you?  Or someones wife or girlfriend?

You have no idea, how much fun.  Continue with your ignorance.

Well, if we are going to have a serious discussion on this topic then we have to deal in details.  And that means there has to be some line.

You seem to believe that women should be responsible to take steps to protect themselves from rape.  But i seriously doubt that you are claiming that they should all wear burkas and not beallowed to leave their homes without a male escort.

So if you want to have a debate lets talk details.

Otherwise feel free to continue with your current middle school name calling contest.

I doubt you even know the guy, you seem relatively new around here.  Why are you defending a guy you don't even know?  You don't know anything about me or my "notions" of the world, let a lone enough to determine if they are "false" or not.

You're like a walking breathing republican cliche'

Do folks realize Soverign Nation has been a member of the boards since May?

It is too funny folks consider someone a troll or alt because they do not post daily.and/or differ with there opinion.

There are at least 3 accounts often used in this forum that I can guarentee you are the same person. Style usually gives it away much quicker that opinion.

Grow up and discuss the points, not the poster.

Where you dropped on your head as a child?  You struggle with simple concepts. The absurdity here is that you assign the responsibility of others actions to a separate individual and can't see the ridiculousness in it.

I, much like the military described what he is responsible for.  You need the world to mold to your warped reality, and when it doesn't, which I'm betting is quite often, you get salty and resort to the middle school behavior you posted above.

I don't think he's an alt.  That was my point when I cleared up who he was.

I've known who he was since the beginning of the board.

How am I supposed to discuss the points when he keeps berating me every time I ask a question or make a point?

It's very difficult to have a legitimate argument with someone that doesn't understand what "generalization" and "irony" mean. That leads to off topic arguments when you have to explain to someone what that stuff actually means, and then they still don't get it. How do you force someone to understand something that simple when they refuse to learn?
