What's up with Suarez ? This is two 4 strike out games in like the last 4 days ! He's swinging at all kinds of junk way outta the zone and looks dejected doing it. Walks back to the dug out tail tucked between legs.

4.17 ERA very, very high for a closer, 4 blown saves, 20 walks which is down among the worst of closers with 50+ innings. Your closer just can't walk guys.

He's way to inconsistent

He may still be having hand issues. If I remember right, he struggled badly at the end of last year too. He may be one of those guys that wears out after 3/4 of the season.

It will be interesting to see how the Reds approach the closer role in the offseason.I don’t think that Garret can handle it either.

Nah, tell him that all the Reds have to do is win their next 24 games and I think the Reds will win the division.

Getting taken out behind the woodshed by one of the worst teams in baseball post AS break ?

I mean out behind the outhouse that's behind the woodshed.  Shocked Even made em cut their own switch !

As the Reds lost the Pirates series in Pittsburgh, The Fat Lady walked towards the stage to sing. People tried to stop her saying that with Bauer, Gray and Castillo the Reds can win 3 in a row and climb to 5 under .500 again. The Fat Lady said that was nonsense and charged ahead. People tackled her and piled on. At this time they are still rolling on the ground trying to stop the Fat Lady determined to sing the seasons end. Maybe if these 3 can win some games in a row, she can be held back, but the Fat Lady is charging like a wild rhino. She has on her viking helmet and costume and is determined to sing. Someone yelled if Reds can finish 81-81, that would be something, and don't forget Marty Day. That just angered The Fat Lady as she erupted passing gas as she fights her way to the stage being held back.

She's already sung Kevin, sorry

There's 34 games left and the Reds are sitting at 60 W's. They have a 4 game series vs. Cards to end August the they've got the Phillies, Cubs, Dbacks, Brewers all in Sept.

If they win 15 they'll be flying ! Which would put them at 75 wins. A decent improvement over last 4 seasons...but. You can't help but think a lot was left on the field.

If they only played against first place teams they might do OK, but if they only played last place teams they'd be completely sunk..

Very much like our beloved Bengals. Play good against tough teams and leave you thinking "What the Hell did I just watch?" when they flop against lesser teams.
