So I have noticed a trend this free agency.
A whole bunch of miserable pessimist fans. Combine this fact with the work being done by a Princeton research project for over two decades as seen here

I think a better explanation for the Bengals lack of success is their ownership and front office. But maybe that's too obvious of an answer for you.
