Kawhi is making all us fans LOVE him, now that we're 12-1, so be a robot if it means we win.

Insider report was just on the radio here in Columbus. Jim Haslett will assume role of DC, it was also mentioned that Marvin might take on in game play calling for the defense.
I should note I couldn’t find this on the Bengals website, it was just reported on local sports channel.

That's the post he's referring to.

We can only hope that is the truth.  I'd be wary as to the authenticity of a poster reporting hearsay from a "local" sports channel.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Agreed. I really want it to be true, but until Hobson reports it, I'm not falling for it.

Hire from the outside.  I’m sorry but promoting a current Bengal coach would assure the same old stank remains.

Haslett is terrible! Ts, Austin is historically bad, so there's that.

The only reason Marvin Lewis is famous is because of Ray Lewis. I can’t stand Ray The Knife but I would suck it up and hire him as Cincinnati’s defensive coordinator if I could.

Remember when everyone in the country thought Marvin was out last year?

Nuff said!

Yes ! Perhaps with Haslett we could come in a couple yards under the record.

Wikipedia says Austin “was” the defensive coordinator for the Bengals. Therefore I believe he’ll work the whole season and be given an extension which would make Viagra jealous.

When your defense is at the bottom of the league, you can't do much worse.

Fire Austin and let Marvin take over playcalling. That's all there is to be done.
Everything in this post is my fault.

Not a lot of options mid season. Hope it’s temporary, but wouldn’t be surprised if it’s permanent.

It's more than the play calls. The players have no idea where to be.

On runs, like 6 of them run to the same spot allowing RBs to bounce outside easily for huge gains.

Guenther looks like he was a genius now.

I bet Mike Zimmer watched that game and immediately developed a crack habit.

The players literally have no clue as to what lanes to be in on plays. Its beyond playcalling too. Austin is a horrible teacher.

I'm sure MB will probably use this as justification for keeping status quo with Marvin. See it can get worse.

The soft zones, players looking lost, and the lack of tackling are just mind blowing. The fact that we have trouble generating pressure but are also last in the league in blitz percentage is also baffling.

With how bad the defense is, the scheme should be to allow the opposing offense to score quickly so they can get off the field. It's ridiculously bad.

I've seen less confusion on a Jr. High football practice field in July. How in the hell this professional defense is this clueless is baffling !

But the bengals do all the same things that other teams do and don’t do. I don’t get why they’re so terrible

Can you imagine how good the Raptors will be once Leonard fully adjusts to their scheme and gets healthy?

Its going to be a great season Big Grin
