Of course it won't get much news. The Republicans are still in favor of protecting the types of gun sales that allow these weapons to get into the hands of terrorists.

And they can't really blame Obama because there is not proof that this gun was in any way connected to the "Fast and Furious" operation.

GWP has too much malware, so I avoid the site. But we've been arming terrorists since at least the 1960s. Both directly and indirectly. And large chunks of it have been paid for with tax dollars.

Plus, with something like 30% of arms manufactured in the US and a close to that number from Russia, there's a good bet most terrorists are going to be using a gun produced and sold by one of those countries.

Fast & Furious weapons went to Mexico.
Mexican drug cartels ship to Euope.
Not surprising.
Assuming it was an AK, it's even more interesting that originated in Russia/China/Egypt/Baltic States.
