Top 30 Visits

ALONTAE TAYLOR?CB?TENN

He's player I've been following quite a bit. Every thing about him screams New Dey Bengals and it appears the Bengals are interested as he was one of their "Top 30" visits:

Dude definitely has size/speed. Standing 6'0" and weighing 199; he ran a 4.36 forty, He had the 10th best vert and 4th best broad of CBs at the combine. Every draft report mentions his high character and being a great team mate.

After a good Senior Bowl week and combine the kid's stock is rising. He needs some coaching, as he's only played the position for 4 years, but the canvas is there.

Yeah I like him and he looks to be able to play zone or at least some experience playing zone. Also has some nice pick 6's on the highlight reel which is something this defense needs. I also like him because I do the PFN mock simulator and he's usually available with our 4th Rd pick. So when do you think he gets drafted? Does he make it to our 4th?

I had not heard anything about him but after looking at some articles and his PFF grades I am on board. TEN plays some good competition and he put up 81.1 in the pass game and an impressive 85.8 in the run game. He is on my list of dudes now.

I think we'd be lucky if he's there at our 3rd.

Really? What site are you getting your rankings from? He is 219 on PFF and going in round 4-6

Used to use a draft site I really liked but they got taken over by CBS a few years ago. Have not found a site that I like as much since. So if anyone has some good ones they use for rankings etc holla at me

Taylor right now is a 2/3 grade in about all of the mocks I have seen lately.

He was gone by 63 when James Rapien did his mock this week from TDN. CTB was as well. If we are going CB in 2 and expecting them to start, we may need to consider trading up

Actually I think someone took over CBS; they used to be among the best. A lot are now focusing on Fantasy Football. I really don't have a "go to"; as I like to compare them all, but The Draft Network provides a lot of data:

Taylor also has those long arms. He think he's more of a man press guy not a zone corner but I really like him. Im glad the Bengals are on him and hope hes there at 63....
I have the Heart of a Lion! I also have a massive fine and a lifetime ban from the Pittsburgh Zoo...

I'd be happy with Taylor or Zyon McCollum at 63.

You have to pay for it, and printing it costs a small fortune, but I love Dane Brugler's "The Monster".  I get it every year and it is like porn to me.  Next to this board, my biggest escape.

will he support the run? we need an all around CB not a "Willow" guy

A negative is he's too aggressive in run support. He wants to fly in and make the big hit instead; sometimes leading to poor angles and missed tackles. So the desire is definitely there, he just needs to work on the execution. He did have 60 tackles this past year.

Instead of creating a new Thread I just renamed this one. The Bengals are bringing in a fine fav and one I would love at 31:

Quote:@ClemsonFB
CB Andrew Booth Jr. has top-30 visits scheduled w/the #Ravens, #Falcons and #Bengals, per source.

Nah, thought you were talking Booth. If we don't go CB at 31; I'd gladly do it at 62

All my mocks have him gone by 62. He’s really good.
