Washington Post published a story 2 months ago following up on the money Trump raised at a fundraiser for Vets. The day it came out, Trump overnight mailed checks to a ton of charities and then called the media dishonest for saying the money wasn't sent out. WaP had called 30 of the 41 charities he said got money and found that most got their checks in the week following the report and most were dated May 24th, the day WaPo's report came out.
