***Week 10 GameDay Thread - Ravens @ Bengals***
(11-10-2019, 04:18 PM)The Caped Crusader Wrote: The situation, not so much the man. Similar talent on a horrific team.

Except Dillon rolled off 4.8, 4.3, and 4.6 YPC his first three years, with 1,100, 1,100, and 1,200 yards... and he could take it 70 yards to the house for a TD.

Meanwhile Mixon is at 3.5, 4.9, and 3.2 YPC with 600, 1,100, and (on pace for) 700-ish yards, and has never had a rushing TD of 20+ yards.

Dillon was great on terrible teams. Mixon has been bad 2/3 years on terrible teams.

Mixon couldn't carry Dillon's jockstrap.

I've said all year that the line was bad, but there were scheme things we could do to get yards.

It wasn't. Eifert had one in the 49ers game.

You forgot setting rookie and all time single game rushing records...

At least we now know it was all Andy’s fault....right?!

I expected the pick six! I didn't expect to see the kid moving around so well and buying time. Right now, it looks like a good move.
This defense is just horrible!!
It's nice to have a running game. Helps everyone on offense, including Andy even, if were playing.
I don't think Andy would have avoided those potential sacks like Finley did though. We actually moved the ball on a good defense.
It was enjoyable to watch imho. First time in a while! Diggin the coaches Veteran's hoodies btw!

Thanks.

I knew it had been a while, but would of sworn he had scored this year...

How many times has Finley been sacked today? Couple that with the sudden surge in run game and it kinda destroys the narrative that all of Dalton’s woes were because of a terrible o-line.

Finley is currently 8 of 14 84yards 1 TD 1 INT

Honestly nothing special BUT its his first game in the NFL and he's playing one of the best teams in the league (this season). Still can't judge yet but so far looks like QB is still going to the first draft pick.

Nobody ever said it was. But you might as well see if you have anything with Finley.

A FG and a TD... all in the 1st half. I like Finley. Even with that pick.

Oh c'mon..they'd be headed to the super bowl because Marv probably has free tickets  or at least a cable TV subscription..

The run surge is due a lot to us staying balanced in the playcalling despite being way down in the score. Something we have not done earlier in the season.

Quality talent. Bad team.

There. Dillion is much better. I won't argue that. Actually not arguing anything because it's a good player, with a lot of heart on a bad team.

Andy was sacked because he can’t move, and stares down field without feeling the pressure. He is strictly a pocket passer, and if you blitz him, he’s in trouble.

Where was this run game earlier in the season.

Dalton has had some good seasons, but I can't imagine him being as impressive as Finley was in this first half.
