Most teams are avoiding doing that.

The OL hasn't run blocked well since 2014. People need to remember that Gio hadn't done very well either in the running game. It's not specifically Hill.

Our OL coach sucks. And the HC waited until the season was lost before removing the biggest OL culprit.

Must be a different Gio  you are talking about.

Hill had that big Cleveland game. He has all of 2 games this season of at least 4ypc.

Also that 4.4 is going to plummet more with his 19 carries for jack today.

This is the first team all year that looks clearly worse than us.

Hill's YPC is higher than Gio's. Everyone has been terrible running the ball this year. Rex has earned a shot, but I'd bet any money his YPC will tank with more carries. I get that people hate Hill, but why pretend the o-line hasn't played into the struggles this year?

I get it. Acknowledging the suck of the o-line gets in the way of Hill bashing.

I know they haven't blocked well, but that doesn't mean that you can just run Hill every first down for nothing anyway.

Basically surrendering a down.

Philly is REALLY good up the middle against the run.  That's really the only place you have a chance at success running against them.

Who was supposed to be on him?

Naw man, this is the same Eagles team that started 3-0, and absolutely housed the Steelers in week 3.  Remember?

Amen.  3 guys in the backfield simultaneous to the handoff and it's the RB's fault?

No pretending, but I'd pick Gio 100/100 times over Hill as a RB. It's too bad they all get injured too easily and the O-line IS bad, but Hill has shown he needs perfect blocking. Last year he was one of the slowest to get to the line of scrimmage, and we didn't have much O-line problems last year.

Ok. So both Hill and Gio have struggled running the ball. What's more likely? That they are both terrible runners? Or that the terrible o-line is contributing heavily to the run game woes?

Big return, then Wentz remembering he has a good TE he has neglected that the Bengals can't cover.

Still big lead, but I hope the Bengals don't continue to play prevent offense.

Shut out over..here's the momentum shift, but I kind of doubt they'll score 22 before the gun. However, if they go to their patented horrible prevent Philly just might..

I don't, I just mean watching this game it's clear they are worse than us (at least today).

Oh, I agree with that. The play selection is horrible for the running game. And defenses are in the backfield.

Team's OL make up needs to change. Can't have a one dimensional offense and expect to win against good teams.
