It's like continuing from the old board without missing a beat - but with restrictions lifted.

Benton and BD are the Wyatt and Doc of the board...maintaining law and order, while keeping the occasional trouble making 'Cowboys' in check.
Shake is The King of the Jungle (Noise).
Zona has become the czar of PnR.
Eox does whatever it is that Eox does...and he does it as only Eox can do it.

I've basically taken on the role of that weird, old founder guy that sits on the Board of Directors just to occupy a seat. I spend most days wondering drunk and confused around the staff room, with my robe hanging open and my tiger striped speedo not quite adjusted correctly...while Benton tries to jab me with a needle full of Lorazepam and Zona sings me lullabies.

It's a good life!  Dancing

I just appreciate the free coffee enemas.

Man, think I'm taking off work to go down to the pond and toss some corn bread at a few.

Scrotum or turtles?

Everything but the truck stop thing applied, and maybe it was correct also.  Having never been to my local truck stop bathroom, I can't say for certain.

And now, a test. Which of the above two emoticons most resembles the creeper hanging in the local truck stop.

All this talk about local truck stops makes me wanna listen to a little Bloodhound Gang.

You can not imagine how difficult it is to hold a half gallon of moo juice

and polish the one-eyed gopher when your doin' seventy-five
in an eighteen-wheeler.

This place sucks...

I'm glad you stepped up Holic.  I could have lived without it, but it's cool that I didn't have to.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

I remember the first cassettes I ever bought at a truck stop.

David Allen Coe and a Gene Tracy comedy tape.

Boy did I get an education in a hurry.

No kidding. When did that start!? I've worked in offices for 15 years now and never had a problem. Now it's like a constant. If there's doughnuts, there's going to be half doughnuts.

I agree. Every legitimate website needs a gray/blue/black background option for those of us who don't like blasting their retinas with white light all the time. That aside, I'm glad everything came together here because I was freaking out back when I first found out the old boards were shutting down. The Bengals message boards have always been my haven no matter what point I'm at in my life.
