Who is the Face of this Franchise?
#21
We want it to Burrow, but the face of the franchise is Mikey. We can't see past his face to enjoy the Paul years or the future, hope that changes though. Sorry to sound gloomy, just being real.

Boomer.

On his way, Joe Burrow.

I mean, if you ask a moderate football fan to name a Bengal, they're going to say Boomer. In a few years, I think, they'd say Joe Burrow.

Joe Burrow is presently imo

Historically thinking Kenny Anderson and Anthony Munoz for me

Guessing fans of other teams would probably say Chad and Boomer

I feel like most non-Bengals fans would say Chad Johnson. He seems to be the most recognizable former-Bengal today. Right now, it's Burrow.

After further thought forget that I said this.

Instead I agree with these guys

I used to say that "younger" fans liked Chad, but then I realized that TWO DECADES have past since his rookie season.

I don't see why you'd say it is Tyler Eifert.  Hilarious

Ken Anderson
Boomer Esiason
Mike Brown (90s)
Chad Johnson
AJ Green
Joey B

Those are the faces of the franchise during my lifetime.

At the rate he's going and if he ends up being considered an elite QB, it'll definitely be Joe Burrow, but I still think, righ tnow, FotF is Boomer.

I agree with this 100%

No question that Burrow is the face of the team as a current player.

Basically as current players go.

Burrow/Chase/Mixon

In that order.

Chase has overtaken Mixon in just a short time in my opinion.

I was gonna say a brown paper bag with two holes poked in it, but that would be the browns..

Yep.

The ownership knows it.

Otherwise he wouldn't have been in the hype video.

Period.

That doesn't mean the new players won't be the face going forward.

I think the Browns/Blackburns know that Boomer and Munoz are more historical and fading from view despite their television/radio presence.

Chad could still be a face of the team for decades ahead.

Like I said in that other thread:

Quote:The Bengals need to name him official team ambassador or something. Pay him to appear at games, pose for pics with fans, cut ribbons at supermarket openings, whatever. Everybody loves to see the guy and it's clear he likes hanging around the team.
