***Wk 8 GameDay Thread...Bengals @ Steelers***
For a team that was supposed to be so good, this team looks like crap. They don't seem to know how to do anything today.

that sums it up. Pittsburgh just wants this game so much more than we do. This game could be the turning point in the season for both us and them.

Lemur is so bad it's not even funny.  Horrible at tackling, horrible at coverage...just terrible.  He runs inside and gives up a ridiculous long run on his side.

PIT and the refs have absolutely not allowed anyone to get in a groove in this game. Has to be one of the shittiest games to watch all year.

Ben didn't even have to move in the pocket. Terrible spot. They spotted the ball where his knee was at.

Nice pass rush. Different year but same results as always.
This is what we will see in the playoffs too I'm sure.

We gave up. Game over

Just hold them to a field goal and make it a one touchdown game. Still winnable

Defense is playing too conservative

Pitt is winning right now because they are aggressive and blitz every other play

Paul sitting in zone all game is destroying us

I can only imagine how the Bengals respond to going down 17-6, I don't think this is a Seattle repeat.

Not the end of the world but not the way to answer the bell either. Will this team ever get their shit together when it matters?

Why do we keep go base package and not sending extra blitzers or do anything exotic? Just sit back and watch Ben throw it. Must be nice to have that time

What bothers me the most is we see this year after year. I've said this many times this team is mentally weak. We have talent galore and play well most of the time but for some reason when they need to step up they fold. As much good as Marvin has done with this team and organization until they get over the mental hump I'm afraid we will continue to see these results. I thought this year might be different but today is more of the same.
