Chase was the smart choice. He has a much better chance than Sewell of being as goo as advertised, and of making an immediate impact.

Miss me with that toe-eyed cabbage bullshit. We had a glaring obvious need and ignored it because sHiNeY nEw WeApOn.

Can't wait to see them sink the next pick into some lackluster ass linebacker with a 4th round grade.

Hilarious

Replaced Hart with Reiff, replaced Turner with Pollack, and have Spain and XSF coming back. Still got multiple rounds to draft interior linemen.

Yet you can't stop being butthurt that we didn't take an OT to play at OG.

I’ll really worry if they do not pick O line then.

We'll take one in 2 and possibly even in 3.  As I mentioned earlier, it was reported earlier today that Pollack attended every Pro Day with a tackle expected to go in the second or third round.

If it were me I would start looking into trading up shortly. They are starting to get to the spot where the price is not ridiculous.

1. You don't chase need. Good franchises draft BPA.

2. They didn't ignore the O line, they just didn't address it with the first round pick. There are 6 rds left.

and for the record, I like Chase a lot. Not disputing he’s a great WR. Sewell was just the perfect confluence of talent and need.

Chase is a great weapon and a great pick. Now take linemen the rest of the draft. Offense, defense and even the linemen fir ohio edison. Just get linemen!!

I get people being upset that they didn’t take Sewell but please don’t act like this means Burrow will get hurt for sure. He might and he might not but I think you Sewell fans should consider this - Chase was the higher rated prospect on the Bengals’ (and most people’s) board.
They took the higher rated player so good on them.  O line will be addressed later for sure and they already signed Reiff so the line is already better than last year’s.

Chill and enjoy the draft

I don't think it means that Burrow gets hurt, it just means that our offense will struggle running the ball and protecting Burrow unless they have a strong rounds 2-4.

Trade within a division? Weird.

Bengals doing Bengals things.  At least we have a solid supporting cast for Brandon Al... er Joe Burrow.

#38 can get them a OL starter. With great scouting #71 can too.
I hope they don’t address defense NET #104.

Tyler Boyd is heading into his age 27 season, and is a slowish 10-11 yard per catch receiver. I like him a ton, but he is not the type of player who will age gracefully. He probably has 3, maybe 4 years left.

Right now, they certainly have a top-5 WR group, though.
