Upon reading several "fact check" articles, the best case scenario for Warren is 1/32 Native American.  Though she cannot verify that she is actually any percentage of Native American blood, those that support her seem to keep championing the point of "you can't prove she's not..."

Is that where we are right now?  Privileged people taking advantage of tools put in place to help the disadvantaged?  I mean, really?  In all of the "family lore" that she was told about growing up, just how much of an effort did her family ever make to connect with those Native American roots?  Did they ever take a vacation to tribal lands?  Did they ever attend a ceremonial Pow Wow?  Did they really even acknowledge that they had any Native ancestry, before they saw an advantage to admitting it?

I'm an eighth and I'd feel like a poser going to a pow-wow.
My buddy that's half has tried to get me to go.

My ancestor didn't have a birth certificate.
The only documentation was a marriage certificate.

Same here, I'm an eighth.  But, since I was not raised in any of the customs, I would feel awkward AF attending any tribal activity.  Especially when you account for my Franco-Germanic bloodlines on my European roots..  You can actually see the Native features in my Father, and even more in my departed Grandmother.  I, however look like another White guy..

German/Dutch is the rest of the makeup, for me.
I have the high cheekbones, squinty eyes, and the alcohol addiction propensity.
Other than that...white boy.

"Trump is basically saying to the Internet community, 'You Wreck Me,' " Helms continued. "And the immigrant community is like, 'Don't Do Me Like That. Stop Dragging My Heart Around. You know, I'm just Runnin' Down a Dream. I want my daughter to be an American Girl. Honestly, You Don't Know How It Feels. Back in my home country, we're Free Fallin', OK?'
