It appears Eric Reid is mad because Malcolm Jenkins made an agreement with the NFL to stop protesting if the NFL donated to causes he saw worthy?

Why would this make Reid mad; isn't one of the purposes of the protest to improve conditions for minorities?

What I read last night was it wasn't so much the deal as much the deal was made without talking to the players that were protesting.

Stand for anything, unless it means potentially sacrificing any aspect of your collusion case against the NFL.

That was strange.  His full statement was released.  It is almost like they were expecting something to happen live.  Don't know why else they would refuse to stream it, but then release the entire statement.

Perhaps to run them by his legal team first.

But it doesn't fit Trump supporters political narrative.

Trump supporters don't speak for Law Enforcement or our Vets. They attack them daily, accept Putin's Intel over America's. They've turned on our Allies for Putin, and our Vets like McCain and those who were captured. It's increasingly difficult for folks to believe they are Patriotic.

Yep.  Being intolerant of intolerant people makes me rude.   Rolleyes

But I'm honest.

And I don't let my political affiliation color my opinions to the point that I refuse to see the other side or using talking points to attack views different than mine.

Or hide behind my career or some oath.

At least one of you pretends to have an "open mind".

But thanks for the insight on how y'all think.  Not that I needed more understanding of that.

Oh, and I don't have a sign.  Probably because I don't need one to live my life as a good person.  ThumbsUp

My North Korean friends are like that.  "No one imprisoned for failing to stand during the anthem?" they ask me.

Incredible, I say, but yes. They get away with it. We need to pass some laws to deal with the problem, and then Americans
themselves should observe and report those who don't show "respect."

Or ways to FORCE people to stay IN the country.  We can't have weak leaders that allow people to just go wherever they want! What kind of "respect" is that for other countries?!?!

How are you able to communicate with these "foreign friends" since they have absolutely no access to information form our media?  How are they able to see images but not be able to read or listen to what is going on?

Or are they just made up?

Hint: Not everyone believes silly made up stuff.  That just works for Trump supporters.

This has been hinted at, but I'll just say it this way: your foreign friends must not be from western democracies. We are probably the most patriotic of western democracies and are often made fun of for it by our peer nations.

Don't be stupid, only right-wingers work hard enough to actually have property with yards.  Left-wingers are all lazing around in their big-city welfare tenement buildings.  Also, they don't own workboots.

I'm pretty sure if I put a sign with Sanskrit(?) writing on it in my yard one of my Jesus-lovin' neighbors would point a gun at me eventually. Remember, this is the same country where a white woman wanted a man off a plane because he was Italian and writing economics formulas.

Arabic. And what's funny about this is this sign was created by a Mennonite church. Here is the original (which is about 5 blocks from the house I grew up in).

Signs painted for a Kindness Campaign being conducted by a small group from College Heights United Methodist Church in Elizabethtown.

A local group has made it a mission to encourage those in the community to always be kind. Evidence of their work can be seen through town in the form of multi-colored “Just Be Kind” yard signs.

The signs are part of their Kindness Campaign, which is spreading throughout the county.

Elizabethtown resident Tricia Smith said the campaign was started about two weeks ago by a small group at College Heights United Methodist Church.

“Our small group has been trying to think of ways that we could do something for the community and, with all the hatred and just meanness, we thought, ‘What can we do to make people remember that all you have to do is be kind?’” she said.

Thus, they came up with the idea of the colorful yard signs.

“We decided we were going to do this and we called it the Kindness Campaign,” Smith said.

Aside from being a reminder to be kind to one another, money raised from the signs will go toward helping people in need in the community. She said the group will choose an individual, family or charitable organization to donate the money to.

“Our small group is very active in the community, so we hear of stories where people are struggling,” she said, adding they wanted “to be able to raise money so that we could share some kindness.”

The group is selling the signs for $10 each, however, those who purchase can donate more if they want, Smith said.

So far, Smith said they have sold a little more than 50 signs. She also said their first project to help an individual in the community has been decided, but they have not announced it.

“We hope that, with as big as (the Kindness Campaign) is getting already, we’ll be able to help others,” she said.

“It’s just going toward sharing kindness with people in the community who need it,” Smith added. “We hope it becomes a big thing.”

Anyone interested in learning more about the Kindness Campaign or purchasing a sign can go to the Elizabethtown Just Be Kind Facebook page or call Smith at 270-234-6827.

“We hope (the signs) make people smile as they’re driving down the road,” she said.

They are in Kentucky (and I don't know where he lives) so at least he isn't just making stuff up.  Instead he's using a nice thing done by a church and some kids to intimate that liberals aren't nice.  lol.

Looks like they're a local think. To be honest I thought it was a bigger movement; hopefully it will grow.

I sure many liberals are nice; however, it has been proven time and time again both here and Nation wide they have the propensity to become vile if you do not see things their way.

Often after spending time here with my buddies I drive around and see these signs and I just wonder how many of the folks on here that applaud things such as harassing folks in public proudly display one of these.

Our president mocks the disabled. And so did our last one, in a more subtle way, now that I think of it.
