And that same Trump lost the popular vote (2nd time he lost that) nationwide by 7 million as well as in the electoral college. And DeSantis cant best Trump.. So if Florida wants to live in an authoritarian dictatorship as their voting pattern indicates more power to them but their politics fall short of winning nationwide. Even a few more electoral votes won’t change that RE: Liberal Cities are bleeding citizens to Red States - SunsetBengal - 06-13-2023 The hits just keep on coming for the Liberal mecca that is San Francisco. In a weeks time their city's policies have led to the departure of their two most prestigious hotels, and now thier downtown mall is closing up. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/companies/walking-away-san-francisco-mall-owner-hands-property-back-to-bank-as-exodus-continues/ar-AA1ct0bE?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=0185b007e63b423395262d4c30eca5f2&ei=42 Quote:Shopping center giant Westfield is walking away from its San Francisco Centre mall, becoming the latest major company to leave the California city amid rampant crime problems. RE: Liberal Cities are bleeding citizens to Red States - Nately120 - 06-13-2023 It's interesting seeing others react to stuff like this happening elsewhere since I'm from a small rust belt PA town where we've spent decades regarding abandoned factories and businesses as monuments to the past, a sign of our resiliency, something for kids to throw rocks at or for people to raid for scrap metal. Fittingly enough, the place in my hometown that used to be a youth rec center was at some point converted to be a center for seniors. There is also a big empty fenced in area that was once a factory but for the past 20+ years it's been bulldozed and sits empty because no one wants to sink in the money to do the required soil/chemical removal to build anything there, but the city is also fighting the building of low income housing there. A whole lotta nothing really fits the area, better. Anywho, poor SF...I wonder where the 49ers will go...probably somewhere in Mississippi. |
