Those on the board old enough to do so may remember a similar occurrence March 10, 1982. On that day all nine of the planets (Pluto was a planet, then) aligned on one side of the sun. There were predictions of massive earthquakes, high tides, cats and dogs living together, etc. Of course, none of that happened. But that morning I was at school and the skies were so dark it looked like midnight. So, yeah, I'll admit I was a little concerned at that point, but hindsight makes it look silly.
