State of the Union speech is a total waste of time. I liked Obama, but I didn't even watch his.

Nothing but a bunch of big empty promises and one-sided political rhetoric.

With multiple standing ovations from one side of the aisle.

I'll likely DVR it, so that I can relive the high points during halftime of the Superbowl. Ninja

Oh absolutely.

He constantly talked about defeating McCain and Romney, comparing them to himself long after each election.

I think we all tired of hearing "the Best" and "the most" and "the biggest" and "the first" peppering Obama speeches.  Remember the "bigger" nuclear button he kept on his desk?  The times he compared himself to Lincoln?

The constant anger directed at "losers" and "second raters" was another symptom of narcissism--though Obama admittedly kept his so well under control only one news organization could consistently discern it. He often hid his anger at critics by praising the free press as a necessary condition of democracy, even when it criticized him.

Remember how he bragged governing was "easy" and talked endlessly about his IQ and genius. I can't think of any specific examples at the moment but I remember commentators on one special news channel talking about all the elite self-importance they could see in Obama even if he wasn't exactly showing it.

Obama may not have said he knows more about ISIS than the generals, but he certainly acted like it with that "hey I'm a Constitutional Law Professor and you're not" smile that you could see if you looked really close.

Then there is that other narcissistic trait--lack of empathy. Maybe Obama never publicly insulted women's looks or mocked a disabled reporter or suggested McCabe ask his wife how it felt to be a loser, denigrated his own DOJ appointess, but you can bet he thought those things. Just hiding them to look PC.  In fact I would go so far as to say his hiding these traits is absolute proof they were there.

Pretty easy to imagine Obama saying "Part of the beauty of me is that I'm very rich" or "It's very hard for them to attack me on looks, because I'm so good-looking."  He felt it even if he did not say it, confidently joking with reporters while discussing the fine points of his own policy like a know-it-all.  "Hey, look at me everyone. I know how government works and can explain my own policies!"

So now the news may be full of Trump's own narcissistic comments, but that should not let us forget eight years of Obama looking narcissistic and hiding his disorder so well only one major news outlet could really expose him week after week.

And all the marriages!  Obama may not have divorced multiple wives just to move on to someone younger then on to a pornstar weeks after giving birth to his son, but man anyone who does is a real leader!

Why the heck isn’t the democrats clapping for things like the flag, the anthem, veterans, lowest black unemployment, terminal patients should be able to receive life saving treatments, paid family leave....

And on and on.

Dear lord I get wanting him to not look good but you need to support some of that

where is joe wilson?

hey, you might know the answer to this one big guy...  on the topic of increasing our nuclear armament, he said it would serve to deter "foreign nations and anyone else."  trump talking about aliens there?  are we talking about using nuclear arms on US soil?

I get a chuckle out of the mean-mugging.

What I'm really looking forward to is Maxine Water's reply to the SOTU.

Some people see through the charade.

A draft dodger praising the military getting on people for peacefully protesting...

Guy who sees the good in white supremacists taking credit for black unemployment...

A lot of people know who he is. A guy who can slowly read someone elses words at a high school level and slurs very few words. Also what he has been the other 70 years of his life.

Why do Joe Kennedy’s lips look like he just got done eating KFC and forgot to wipe his mouth?

Well, tossing a salad and eating KFC probably have a similar flavor...

Na bro. Drugs, terrorists, ms13, and nuclear war. You forgot all about the fear mongering. Some kind of new power to fire federal employees who are a threat to the empire. And a promise to start filling American run prisons with foreigners.
