Ok all the evidence I'm about to provide is circumstantial.
I've been reading articles saying that Burfict has looked good on the rehab field. Such as this one posted just 2 days ago. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/burfict-moving-well-misses-practice-bengals-return-180018764--nfl.html
So I figured I check out Burfict's twitter and noticed he had a tweet saying he was headed to California yesterday. Thinking to myself why he would be headed to Cali instead of rehabbing at PBS I looked up the doctor that did his microfracture surgery. Dr. Neal ElAttrache's (One of the top sports doctors in the nation also did Clowney's microfracture surgery) clinic is located in California. So my best guess he's headed there to get medically cleared to practice.
