No comment on the actual person.

Now there’s a name I’ve not heard in a long time.

A cool username was Hachi Go which is “85” in Japanese; an obvious tribute to Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson.

RE: Best username? - Speedy Thomas - 02-05-2022

In all modesty, I have to go with.....Speedy Thomas. Pay homage to the classics.

If you're not familiar with the Speedster, career highlights include:
3rd round draft choice out of Utah in 1969 (Bengals second year)
first touchdown catch came from Greg Cook in a 30-24 win over the Chargers
at one time held the team single game receptions record (7 for 177 vs. Denver in 1970)
caught a 19 yard TD pass from Sam Wyche in a playoff-clinching 45-7 drubbing of the Patriots
recorded the longest TD reception of the 1971 NFL season (90 yards from Virgil Carter)

Those early teams were so much fun.

I was just thinking about CamCat and Wildcats and how they'd react to a Bengals Super Bowl.

Certain they would be thrilled and filled with joy for the upcoming game.

RASCAL

The username + pic combo does it for me.

RE: Best username? - TecmoBengals - 02-07-2022

I promise I'm not pandering to the man running the show, but Bengalholic has to be in the running for best username. As much time as many of us spend posting on this forum, we must be way too serious about our Bengals fandom. We're Benagalholics to the extreme. It's a simple, yet clever name.

I dont have the best username but I would argue one of the more esoteric ones.

RE: Best username? - Johnny Cupcakes - 02-07-2022

I went from having the best username, to having the best username, sandwiched in between times when I had the best username and when I had the best username, then switched it to have the best username, then recently changed it back to the best username again.

While mine not be the most Bengals-related, rest assured, if you see a PhilHos on ANY website, chances are, it's me.

It's so timeless.

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our English dead.
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger
