Teryl Austin is a defensive backs specialist. This could be beneficial given how bad the Bengals’ secondary has been.

Eh, still don't like the guy for us here and our Secondary is not as bad as some make it out to be, especially
if Will Jax and Dennard are starting instead of Adam and DreK. Bet we bring in another Safety as well in FA
or the Draft to compete for Shawn's spot.

We just need to play more man to man and less zone and our Secondary could be one of the best.

People always bring this up. It was Gruden that was messing around with Harrison about "touching the merchandise (Green)". Harrison has his own unique sense of humor, but there was nothing serious about the exchange.

I wish the Steelers were rolling into 2018 with the 32nd ranked OC and 27th ranked DC.

Austin how in Green Bay interviewing.

Another Bengals far reaching move to get that ring!

Thanks, I didn't realize that was all a joke.

ssssssht. Don't think about him. (Badgers fan)

Honestly, he's a little green, but he has the passion and will probable have a HC job in college in about 2-3 years.

I got know problem with Austin. JBC gets all of the press but Austin just goes about his business. Once we (they, the Lions, this is confusing for me) dumped Caldwell I figured he'd at least get a look. Regardless, he deserves to be DC somewhere, and the Lions blocking his GB interview is a nice endorsement: yeah, you can interview, but we don't want you in the division.

I'm not sure I want a guy who's D couldn't stop the Bengals 32nd ranked O when the lions needed to to make the playoffs.

Lions must think they have something as they have blocked Green Bay from interviewing this guy for their DC

RE: Bengals to interview current Lions DC - SunsetBengal - 01-06-2018

Any updates on the status of the interview?

He's a decent guy and a decent coach.  We have done worse.  But, this kind of reaction is to be expected.  I heard some Giants fans are upset at the rumor that some schmuck Eli Manning beat twice in the SB might be their next HC.
