RE: 2015 Playoff Implications - West Union KennyG - 11-16-2015

Quote:Head-to-head, if applicable.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four.
Strength of victory.
Strength of schedule.

If I understand these tie breakers correctly - the "best won-loss-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four" comes before the strength of schedule tie breaker.

New England and Cincinnati have 4 Common Opponents:
1. Buffalo (New England & Cincinnati have both defeated Buffalo)
2. Pittsburgh (New England & Cincinnati have both defeated Pittsburgh)
3. Houston (Neither team has played Houston yet)
4. Denver (Neither team has played Denver yet)

Folks - if you're concerned about the potential of winning a #1 seed this season against New England - and if you're a Bengals fan you should be concerned about that - I can't even tell you how important this game is tonight against The Texans because it's one of the 4 common opponents we share with New England and that is one of the tie breakers for the #1 Seed.
