How is that possible?

It's not only possible, but repeatable as well.  Wait til whatever non-qb they trot out behind that line gets to face the Ravens and Steelers.

They might want to look at some wildcat options, lol.

The Eagles went 9-7 last year. If that’s sucking sign me up.

Joe Burrow was literally carrying this team. Taylor is being exposed without him.

I'll take anything over what we have. Anything.

Taylor was being in exposed with him. Hence the fact that our QB has a blown out knee. Joe is good. He isn't God.

Yep

Other than the 72 yard td which was mostly a busted play by the defense we ran 49 plays for 124 yards.  That is 2.5 yards per play.

There was very little criticism of Taylor as a play caller when Burrow was out there putting up 300+yds and 30 points multiple times. Now we can barely cross midfield. If not for a Miami DB taking a bad angle on the Boyd TD we probably get shutout today.

Like I said, Burrow was carrying this offense. There’s really no refuting that.

I see the Zac fan club is predictablely quiet tonight

You wouldn’t take 9-7 right now? That’s what the Eagles were just last year.

All 3 of them.

14 votes to keep him in your poll. It’s mind boggling.

I just had to look at the poll and see who they were. Sad

In all fairness it was great design and execution on that 1 play. Finley is abysmal the fact that Taylor went into the year with him as a backup should be enough to fire him at this point. Allen isn't much better but he is at least somewhat competent.

So, does anyone else wonder if Katie and Co. have privately spoken with Simmons about taking over as interim HC?

The Bengals were officially eliminated from the playoffs following the loss to the Dolphins.
The team lost their composure in the game, signaling that Taylor has lost control of the team.
It feels like a good time to make the move to fire Zac Taylor and let Simmons take over for the remaining 4 games.
Give Callahan a chance to call the offensive plays.

If they had put more emphasis on improving the defense and run game in the offseason, perhaps they wouldn't have had to rely on Burrow so much to even make games close.

There are plenty of good HC candidates out there. I dont see why not.

We took a chance on the guy. Hindsight is 20 20. It didn't work out. Better to cut him loose now rather than 2035.

Isn’t special teams the one that started the whole brawl? Maybe Simmons ain’t so great either...
