WAPO is now reporting that memos exist detailing Trump asking the NSA director to publicly push back against the FBI probe. The director declined to do so, deeming it inappropriate.
The White House responded that they don't "confirm or deny unsubstantiated claims based on illegal leaks from anonymous individuals". I guess they now wait for Trump to tweet the confirmations.
