Am i the only one upset? - Jpoore - 04-25-2017

By the fact we could have got a.p. For 3.5 million?

RE: Am i the only one upset? - GreenCornBengal - 04-25-2017

Not upset one bit. Everyone knows A.P. is looking to coast into the sunset.

Isn't NO his home town or something? Doubt he wanted anything to do with the dysfunctional Bengals.

Nope, I think you're the only one.

Not sure how much A.P. has left in him to be honest. Not too mention, pinning your hopes to an aging back coming off injury and putting him behind the O-line that is currently here is just asking for disappointment.

Not upset at all. I think he's done.

RE: Am i the only one upset? - THE PISTONS - 04-25-2017

I doubt that he would have came here. He said that he wanted to play for a contender.

We don't exactly have a track record of playoff success.

The Pats signed Gillesee and Burkhead over him. That says a lot.

I was bummed about burkhead. Not too worked up about ap. He will have a couple good games here and there, depending on workload.

Yes, yes you are.

Not really, he is ancient for a NFL RB.

But the saints did get him cheap and he may pay dividends.

Still not bummed though.

The Saints ain't exactly the Patriots or Steelers themselves.

Anyway, I had no interest in AP. Rather draft a RB to compete with Hill.

Saints are gonna introduce him, enjoy him, and walk him out on a stretcher all in the same day...

No way, AP is way to old.

RE: Am i the only one upset? - bengalfan74 - 04-26-2017

Not at all,

Like someone else said he may have a couple good games but I doubt at his NFL age he's going to be a major contributor to anybody, especially us with our line and play calling.

3.5 mil to put more butts in the seats.   when did the saints become a running team? lol

RE: Am i the only one upset? - guyofthetiger - 04-27-2017

Don't count AP out. He came back from what many thought was a career ending injury. I think he'll do fine in NO, but they are a passing team so I see him only getting about 1200 to 1400 yards. Which is still good. BTW, I would not want him a Bengal just because we have other issues with the oline.

RE: Am i the only one upset? - grampahol - 05-01-2017

I'd be upset if we had a time machine and didn't use it, but we don't and didn't.
