People change the channel. NFLN did a vastly superior job on the pick - they took the time to spell out the entire story of the incident and also detailed that the Bengals vetted Mixon extensively, and interviewed everyone they could to be as sure as possible that he is not a predicate offender.

We just got arguably the best WR and RB in the draft all the while adding a 4th round pick, now we have 3 4ths.
We got Atkins, Boling, Shaw, Billings all in the 4th.

NFLN was pretty fair, at least. They showed his game film and Mayock said he's a Top 15 talent in any draft, but he would personally take him off his board. The others touched on him and the victim settling their differences and said he may do better in a smaller city.

Everybody complaining about the negative media while also hoping we'd pick him need to stop. Everyone knew the team that took him was gonna take a beating, especially if it was the Bengals who have a history of bringing in criminals. Bengals have this rep for a reason, they earned it. If you're ok with that fine, just don't act like everyone is out to get your team for no reason.

Look, a guy went in round one that is involved in Rape charges, OK....OK....So Mixon NOT the worst risk in the draft...THose who wanted Mixon got their wish.....We did need a RB with Burkhead gone and Bernard injured. I still like Hill, but you need more than one RB....After going WR and RB we are in dire need of BIG MEN in next few rounds.

Be nice to take two of those 4ths and move into the 3rd. Maybe package the 3rd and a 4th to get into the late 2nd?
