Mixon: "I learned a lot about not being around certain people and certain situations"

Good to hear that young man...by the way there is a guy on the team that goes by the name PacMan that you, ahem, should probably stay away from.

They do have the same agent.  But I think Adam will be on his best behavior now too.

As for guard, they have one veteran in Johnson that has experience and can play center/guard.. they have a 4th rounder from last year in Westerman... i still think they draft one or two linemen in 6/7 rounds.

I could see that. But for the ones (Kevin) that thought we were going to retool the offensive line in this draft, there was never a chance.

and there goes Asiata...

The fact that we are staying put with crud like Bodine and Og tells you everything you need to know about this franchise - it's like they dare not admit that Piano Man is incompetent, fire him and get a real OL teacher.

Cole Hikutini
Jon Toth
Chad Kelly

Would love to draft these guys.

And....NFL Network also carried Mixon's presser and were classy about it. Their comments boil down to "you've been given a chance kid, now earn it".

My guess they liked Elliot's demeanor over Gonzalez.

Now the Utah guard gone....this is just sad.

It actually was pretty decent... Nothing negative was said and they just let Mixon talk.

Shocking since they raked him over the coals yesterday.

Any center but Toth

I just watched Jake Elliott's full Pro Day workout. Folks, we got a kicker!

I still need some closure on why the Bengals did not pick Gonzalez.  What is so special about Elliott?

Don't know, but Simmons is the best position coach we have and I trust his judgment.

RE: ***Official 2017 NFL Draft Day Thread*** - JumboTron - 04-29-2017

Quick question: Has anyone seen that Bengals 50th Anniversary commercial that hasn't been cut-off halfway through?

Felt good after the first four picks. Feels like it's going sideways now. Next year we will draft nothing but lbs, o line and secondary

That's my thought also.

Kicking is mental hence Agguayo and nugent being college all stars and bad to average pros.

Maybe they realized "damn... Wait. Legal issues aside this kid could potentially be one of the leagues best running backs ever... He may make us eat our words..."
