Well, it was the logo in the 90's. Most of the time they were getting their asses kicked, so it kinda makes sense.

RE: Bengals LOGO - BacknDaDey - 02-16-2019

I feel the "B" logo is more of a representation of the Brown family name then the Bengal Tiger.

It’s not.

That's probably the pitch someone used on the Browns to convince them to buy the design and won them over.

RE: Bengals LOGO - McC - 02-16-2019

The B is just too tame a symbol for such a fierce creature.

My point exactly. If we’re the Bengal Tigers let’s own it.

Precisely.

Lots of teams use a letter for a logo.

No need to makae up a reason to not like it.

But most of them are for the city and not the team name.

BTW, you may want to relook that sig.

Wow...where in my opinion did I say that I didn't like it?

RE: Bengals LOGO - Older Than You Too - 02-17-2019

Didn't Marvin design the B? I swear I remember seeing that on the local news back in 03-04.

But yeah, the B is pretty meh. I actually do like the leaping tiger, just never liked the uniforms they were on.

RE: Bengals LOGO - Nately120 - 02-24-2019

I prefer the old jerseys with the leaping tiger on the sleeves, but I'm ok with the B logo, too. It took a while, but I warmed up to the B. Whenever I want to relive the old logo I just put on my Neil O'Donnnellll starter jersey from 98.

The leaping tiger would look good if reworked, so it doesn't look like it is malnourished and has hydrocephaly.

On helmets, I would like a signia that looks like coat of arms, with a Bengal tiger head above it and paws encircling it below. Or two tigers standing on each side.

Uniforms that look like armor with chain mail and an orange striped shield in the front.

The Ratbirds kind of beat us to the coat of arms idea, but it could be reworked. This ain't Britain with lions and unicorns running amok everywhere..

This tiger is pretty awesome.

I bet all those bricks would make the helmets too heavy though..  Nervous

RE: Bengals LOGO - Nebuchadnezzar - 02-24-2019

Make the field orange and make the yard lines and hash marks black.

This is the tigers logo for an aussie rules team. It looks a little cartoonish and yellow but I always hoped that the Bengals would do something similar.

Change the yellow to orange and it's a winner.
