That's the story of this team for decades now. Hell we should be the Cincinnati Woulda, coulda, shoulda's instead of the Bengals.

So why wouldn't they be pumped?

I do believe that Ben Baby tweeted that orange slices were served during halftime.

Have any of you ever played on a really shitty team? I've had that experience. The first year that I played Semi-Pro, our team sucked, we only one two games that year, we really struggled to score points. However, we found little things to measure success by, and it held us together as a team. That same core group of guys stuck together, added a few quality additions, amd went on to win a league Championship, just two years later.

The moral of my anecdote is simply this. If the team still has morale, and feels like they were competitive, then they have not given up.

Thanks for the update

I was concerned about their nutrition and hydration.

Zac also gave Turner a foot rub to avoid getting an atomic wedgie in the locker room.

Spirits are high!

Honestly, I'm tired of hearing what amounts to 'we could've won if we hadn't lost'. The truth is that they have found a variety of ways to lose 12 of the 13 games they've played. Unfortunately, you don't get credit for coulda/shoulda/woulda.

Indeed. And it's all contradictory.

For instance...outgain the Browns by 118 yards and have more turnovers. And lose.

Yet against teams like the Bills...we barely had a 1st down in the 1st half...got outgained tremendously in yards...and lost by several points.

So in one scenario yards matter. In another yards don't matter.

The point is...we're just a bad team. Outscored 230 - 337.

I get that Sunset and agree.

But still, "nobody can really stop us" ? Perhaps a better choice of words would be "we've beat ourselves a lot". Nobody can stop us seems pretty delusional and disingenuous or something ?

Yeah, it's great that they still have fight in them and haven't just given up...but saying they can't be stopped except by themselves is like a boxer getting knocked out 12 times in 13 fights and saying 'no one can stop me except my glass jaw'.  Whatever

Looks like ol' Joe gonna be mad AF when his stocking isn't gonna be filled with candy and nuts.

It's really just professional pride. If nothing else, it's a veiled shot at management or coaching.

One of the funnier quotes about football that I've ever heard was... "The only person who can shut down DeAndre Hopkins is Brock Osweiler.".

Don't get him started Jason.

I'm sure it and all the other volumes are in his "collection".

Nobody can stop us? The officials seem able to stop the Bengals anytime they want.
