Imagine telling some guys to murder a civilian, getting caught, the US completely backs you as everyone else points out that you did it, you then sentence those dudes to death, and everyone else calls you out on it but the US is like "good job!"
Also the President's slumlord son in law with absolutely no foreign policy experience chats with you on WhatsApp to coordinate relations between you and the US.
That's real life.
