Not 100% certain, but that is what I saw.  His head snapped back the moment Tee layed into him.  Tee was lowering his shoulder into his chest, but Hamlin's helmet definitely snapped back at that moment, looking like the crown of Tee's helmet went into his face mask area.

Yup, I get it. But if you don't do that -- and arguably don't take the "moral highground" -- how do you look then?

Yeah, they would spin it like "the show goes on," "they know the risks," etc...but it just, at this point, wouldn't FEEL right. When the game pauses for two minutes for an injured player, that's ONE thing...THIS is quite another. Just sayin'.  Cool

I dont want to sound insensitive but could a drug overdose (like cocaine), cause a heart attack in such a situation like this?

I get the Bills players are devastated, but I cannot see Tee Higgins continuing if we resume

As heartless as it sounds there is millions tied up in this schedule. They will take an hour and continue the game.

Yeah, I get that.  Then again, if the players don't want to play and the NFL and TV networks say "get back out there" the NFL risks having the players union on edge.  The players control a lot of capital, too.

The NFL is going to have to go into PR mode, regardless.

Yessir. That’s what you were thinking since the Bills beat the Chiefs earlier this year.

I dont think its insensitive to state that taking drugs could cause a sports collapse. Its a bit weird to go straight to cocaine. But naw this is a logical question you have to ask.

I'd wager we're pretty die hard fans here, and I can't imagine any of us being upset if the game was called.  If the players are told to go on the field and they look as shaken as they did last time we saw them, I'll probably just turn it off.  Not out of protest, but who is feeling this now?

I think the decision will come down to hearing good or bad news.  If he is stable and doing ok I think they continue.   If not I think they call it.

Yeah that is the other part of the equation.
If , God forbid, the worst happens, it could be devastating to his life as well.
What a terrible night.

Aneurysm is a good guess. I think that will put you down faster than a heart attack.

Yes, you insensitive person. Cool

But...yes. Stress levels, heart rate an' all that. Definitely could be factors. Although, unlikely.

So the Bills would still have a shot at the #1. Bengals would be done. I’m ok with it.
