Old cars - '68 Corvette and '72 Mercedes currently.
Golf - play 2 - 3 times per week now, and work a few hours per week as a starter, so I can play for free.
Drums - played professionally for around 10 years when (much) younger. Still play now, but more so for the cardiac workout than anything. Plus the high volume has taken its toll on my hearing.
Design/Build Construction - Though I have been into this professionally for >30 years, I'm at the hobby stage with it now, mostly helping friends with improvement/rehab projects.
Used to collect all kinds of stuff - beer cans, old radios, toasters, baseball cards, model cars etc but have sold it all to support my real car habit.
Travel, if this can be counted as a hobby. It's a necessity for me, just to recharge. And instead of exploring new places, recent years I've been going back to old haunts like Northern California, Montreal, Florida, and Switzerland (8 years since I've been there though).

Collect Comics and coins/money.

Occasionally I fall back into drawing, something I did more in high school. Recently it has been designing tattoos I want.

Discussing politics with weird Bengals fans on the internet

I wish I could say golf, but I do not play enough to count it.

RE: Hobbies - CKwi88 - 06-03-2015

Golf, motorcycle, reading, videogames.

Usually in that order.

RE: Hobbies - Belsnickel - 06-03-2015

History - I love going to historical sites and museums and plan any trip around that.
Reading - Comics, fantasy, sci-fi, historical fiction
Fishing - Though really you could call it lounging around on a river bank because I don't really want to catch anything, just laze about.

RE: Hobbies - Goalpost - 06-03-2015

During the winter i bowl. Summer, i golf when i can. Go to a casino every so often. Don't know if you include house work as a hobby, but currently doing some wood work and building around the deck.

Mostly reading. Are cigars a hobby? I don't collect them or anything (although I do have several hundred at any one time), but I enjoy going to auction sites and such to get cigars I like for the lowest possible price. Kind of a thrill if you can pay $3.00 for a cigar that genuinely retails for $6.00 or $7.00.

I go to a few races (used to go to a lot more before the family), any kind....Indy, dirt, NASCAR, lawnmowers, snails.....

I do some moderate mechanic work....my biggest job to date was an engine swap. I also enjoy detailing, I used to do that for income during my college and late high school days. I especially like taking a car that looks like the paint is shot, and getting it back to a mirror like finish.

Barbecue.....not grilling, but BARBECUE, although I enjoy grilling too. I love my new smoker, however.....

I like to draw, read some, hike, trying to learn banjo, but I can't find the time, and I'm a general tinkerer....

I have some pretty good collections, but I have stopped that endeavor because I simply have no more space for them. I have a pretty good bar paraphernalia collection.....signs, mirrors, banners, lights, and quite a few neons. Football and baseball cards from the early 80s, barware, (glasses, mugs, steins, shotglasses....although I still collect shotglasses.....old cans and bottles.....I'm talking OLD....etc), racing die cast, signage, banners, posters, and cards (including several autographed pieces, and even a door skin and quarter panel from a dirt late model on my garage ceiling), movie posters, and miscellaneous sports memorabilia......I think that about covers it, lol.

EDIT: Oh, and I love to bowl....not that I'm any good at it, but I love it nonetheless. Also enjoy air hockey and pinball. Anyone got a pinball machine for sale?

Ha!  I've been to their shop in Nashville, and I must admit that I have one of their photos on the wall in the garage, and a magnet on the beerator.....lol.

When I say I ran out of room, that means that I have ran out of room to display.....I don't have the overflow like they are looking for.  Love the show though......and on a related note, they did pick a guy who owns a storage facility a couple of blocks over from me a couple of years ago.

I love history and everything about.  Doesn't matter what kind military, political, ancient, natural, sports...you get the idea.  That being said,  I absolutely hate that show.  And it doesn't help that it's on ALL THE TIME!.  I can hardly watch the History channels or AHC because one of three things is always on no matter what I switch to.  It's either American Pickers, Ancient Aliens, or something about WWII and/or Nazi's.  With amount of history that there is, I can't believe how little they cover.  Drives me crazy.

One of mine, too. I ran into them when they were in my area for their show. Genuinely nice guys, as well.

I'd love to see pics of the 68.  Love the lines on that year.
