There are only 2 trans threads right now, but we all know how he operates. Once he picks a topic, he is going to spam it for the next 2 weeks. Seriously 30% of the P&R first page is stories about Syrian refugees in EUROPE. Only 25% of the threads are about the friggin' election, and Iowa is a week away.

If the mods don't want to merge threads, can people at least just post new shit in one of the bigger threads? That's how it used to work.

There are so many different angles on the European crisis that it's worth unique discussions.   Admittedly some are just funny and meant for a quick laugh.    But this issue should dominate the board, it's significant and a current event.   And even though some are a little crazy it just shows how badly things have gotten in Europe.  

In the end feel free to post all the election threads you feel are necessary.    If you get more discussion on those threads then it will push down what you feel are unnecessary threads.

Also, don't pretend like your multiple threads present different angles on the same story. You can edit your thread titles. Notice I just edited my Palin Endorsed Trump title since I added news of  Cruz and Rubio endorsements. If you have more to add to the same story of "Lucie hates Muslims" then do it. Maybe "European Refugee Crisis" would be a good thread title.

How about just discuss the threads you feel are worthy and if enough people feel the same then they disappear to page 2.

You can't make a thread European migrant crisis.   Too many countries, too many unique situations, too many grass roots political parties growing because of this crisis.    There is a lot to discuss that is very interesting.

As far as the OP, as mentioned, if there's a concern over multiple threads spamming the same subject/subjects, please let one of the mod team know.

Also, based on what discussion you have brought here, I find it pretty easy to lump those topics together. One was about a German town banning refugees from pools because they said there was sexual harassment. Another was about a German town having mass sexual harassment on New Years Eve. Those alone seem very relevant. Then you had a thread about another country having classes on not sexually assaulting people. Again... common theme? The situations don't seem so unique. Your argument, when you actually supply your own thought instead of just copy paste, is also always the same. "Get rid of all of the refugees because they will not assimilate to Western norms". 

You also have a thread titled "The Future of Europe". You seem to think you can find a common link between the European nations.

The only reason you are pissing and moaning is that you know most here are willing to discuss these issues and even if you ignore the threads they Will always get bumped from actual conversation.
