This is what cities do when their sports teams win championships. Now, I know that most of you have probably never seen one of these unless you live anywhere else but Cleveland, but this is completely normal everywhere else in the USA. Again, do not be alarmed, this is a normal thing.

Congratulations on your hockey championship.

Given what we already know about Lucy, I don't think you needed to apply a condition to that conclusion.

By celebrating a Pittsburgh team win?

Shocked

Hockey, pfft!  A racist and bigoted sport.  Enjoy your tainted championships while you still can.  Next thing you know, they'll be demanding that the NHL modify, in an effort to be more inclusive of blacks, gays, and other groups. Ninja

I figured this was a warning to the women of Cincy that Pig Pen would be at the local casinos soon when I opened this thread..... Mellow

(Oh, and OP, there have been 1 or 2 World Series titles in town.....) ThumbsUp

Umm...The Reds have won a few World Series. So you fail again....lol.

Umm...read the whole thread before replying next time. It's already been addressed.

Except that he likely wasn't.

He didn't say there had never been a championship in Cincy.  He said "...most of you have never seen one of these... "

All that it would take for him to be right is for the majority of Cincy fans reading his post to be younger than 26 (or more realistically 30, since they would have to be at least that old to have a memory of the Reds' championship).  It's not unreasonable to believe this is true.

Try to keep up.

I will.  Because that's what he said.

Eh I'm a Red Wings fan. It's not that unusual to me.

I will.  Because that's what he said. He said 'most' have never seen a championship, not none. Please don't tell me that I need to explain to you that saying 'most haven't' implies that some have.

Only you are dumb enough to try to defend it. Even the OP realized his mistake and bailed on the thread.

I'm still here.

There's really nothing left to be said.
