Violence At Neo-Nazi Rally - Nebuchadnezzar - 06-26-2016

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/mass-casualty-stabbings-nazi-rally-sacramento-california/

When are people going to learn that violence at these sort of things only make it worse? Make a bunch of noise, get loud, make fun of them, point and laugh at their ignorance...don't attack with violence because now its only going to escalate and be more frequent.

A couple of years ago in Cincinnati somewhere, there was a little klan rally. They were laughed at, mocked and made fun of and since, I haven't heard or seen them again.

Now, I bet they return in greater numbers plus they will be carrying weapons. Maybe not guns but knives and clubs just looking for a fight...hoping they get to "Defend" themselves and the way things escalate and the stupidity of people in this country, they will get that chance.

Then, somewhere else they will bring guns and blood will flow.

Another thing, people in this country get to believe, act and say whatever they want without fear of violence. Those against them can say, believe and act the same way to try and disrupt without fear of violence as well.

Get inventive, use your brains and wit to make these guy look like the fools they are. Attacking them only furthers their cause and reinforces their beliefs.

Here is Henry Rollins' plan.
It's a good one.

Whether you agree with their message or not; they were simply exercising their right to free peaceable assembly. Folks that come to these things and incite violence are the ones to blame. The answer would be to just ignore them.

Yes. Think how great it would be if nobody showed up for these things. I mean like, zero people. That would be awesome. There used to be rallies in my hometown from time to time and even as a teenager I encouraged people to just stay away...to no avail.

The reasonable side of me says that people can say what they want and you have to grit your teeth and bear it, or just stay away. The cynical side of me says that a man who feels enough passion about the KKK and it's agenda to publicly demonstrate for it, and a man who feels enough disdain for it to show up and protest should also be expected to occasionally stand up for their beliefs.

I consider myself fairly milquetoast and non-committal (and flat-out privileged) because there is neither belief nor ideal for which I'd get in a kerfuffle with a stranger. I suppose I'm fairly fortunate in that regard.

I personally blame everything on Trump. Ninja

Well, in truth I consider Trump to just be one of the latest personifications of everything I see wrong with discourse in our country and, really, the world.

The tool who organized this went to Towson outside of Baltimore. He was organizing a "European Student Union" there that was a front for white supremacy. He has his own page on SPLC's website

I don't know. How long?

Actually, I had not even thought about Trump until you mentioned him.

And now I've forgotten about him again.

Your continued commitment to this milquetoast and non-committal attitude (and your use of the word milquetoast in a post) just turns my stomach!!! I never see you getting into kerfuffles with strangers over anything!!! What's up with that?!?!?!

Hilarious

Quote:Matthew Heimbach, chairman of the Traditionalist Worker Party, tells the Los Angeles Times that his group and the Golden State Skinheads organized the Sunday rally.

Vice chairman Matt Parrott, who was not present at the Sacramento rally, says it was a peaceful march and blamed "leftist radicals" for instigating the violence.

Heimbach says that in the clash, one of their marchers had been stabbed in an artery and six of the "anti-fascists" had also been stabbed.

LOL.

Quote:In a post on their website TWP described the gathering as their "Thermopylae," in reference to the infamous Greek battle site where a small Spartan force stood up to a massive Persian army.

They claimed the purpose of their gathering was a "protest against globalization and in defense of the right to free expression."

The Bay Area Independent reports "members of the Traditionalist Workers Party, Golden State Skinheads, Blood & Honor, National Socialist Movement and Ku Klux Klan," had all planned to attend.

LMAO!

These Trump protesters are branching out.
One could begin to label them terrorists.
Hmmmm... I wonder how much Soros pays ?

RE: Violence At Neo-Nazi Rally - bfine32 - 06-28-2016

I wonder whose reaction/attitude toward this type of behavior would be different if 500 white-supremacists interrupted an organized BLM rally of 50 people and violence broke out.

People who speak of evil things tend to rile people up on both sides.

Sometimes some people overact and get violent.

Personally I'd rather just post the names and photo's of these people who support evil AND the violent ones.

But we live in a society where the macho ones need to prove they are tougher than the other guy.

So these kinds of confrontations are inevitable.

Let's be thankful no one was killed.

Depends.

If it's the 'all white people stink, cops stink, authority stinks' BLM, I think the reaction would be about the same.

If it's the 'black people are treated differently' BLM, I think the reaction would be different.

If you're talking a peaceful group, I don't think you have a violent response whenever they peacefully assemble. But Neo Nazis aren't exactly peaceful by nature, nor are the actions carried out in their honor by guys like Timothy McVeigh.

BTW - What does the Bureau of Land Management have to do with all of this?
