Anyone still make homemade candy or cookies as a Christmas tradition? - fredtoast - 12-26-2016

Making cookies for Christmas was a big deal for my ex-wife. Kind of unusual because she could barely even find the kitchen the rest of the year.

I love to cook and do it all the time. But I am not big into making homemade cookies or candy for Christmas.

BTW the reason I brought this up was that my mom made some peanut brittle and I can't stop eating it. I am glad she didn 't make a huge batch because I will not be able to stop until it is all gone.

My Mom makes cookies and fudge. Also hard to refrain from munching on, constantly..

not for the family, but our ad dept. Used to make them for regular accounts. 4-5 people, each bringing in 7-8 doze cookies. Our office was like the keebler tree house for a week.
