Anyone still make homemade candy or cookies as a Christmas tradition? - fredtoast - 12-26-2016 Making cookies for Christmas was a big deal for my ex-wife. Kind of unusual because she could barely even find the kitchen the rest of the year. I love to cook and do it all the time. But I am not big into making homemade cookies or candy for Christmas. BTW the reason I brought this up was that my mom made some peanut brittle and I can't stop eating it. I am glad she didn 't make a huge batch because I will not be able to stop until it is all gone.
